| Like many, it's unlike me to post things like this but I feel I should since every thought and every prayer matters. Over Labor day last year, I received the horrible news that my wonderful mother had a heart attack. Immediately the next morning, I flew out with my wife from WA to CO (Henderson) Where they live. My mom had the worst type of heart attack one can have, on the left side of their heart (I believe). It's the side that controls everything. Over the course of a few weeks, months, she recovered extremely quickly. Being let go of the hospital in 3 days, I was extremely happy that I would see her leave before heading back to WA. Since then her Dr.s gave her a clean bill of health and considered her healthier than before, until recently. She was out of physical therapy and walking on the tredmill 30 minutes a day @ 3 m.p.h with ease until about a week or so back when even that got more difficult. On friday, she was readmitted into the emergency room because of difficulty breathing. It was later determined she had a mild heart attack. Today she was to have a small surgery on a smaller vein but her surgery was postponed due to somebody coming in from an ambulance w/ a heart attack. It was later determined she needs to have By-pass surgery tomorrow and was air lifted from Northglen to Denver to a more suitable hospital. I know that these surgeries are a pretty common thing these days and she has apparently one of if not the best Dr. in the area, but it's hard not to worry. Any Prayers and thoughts are truly welcome for my wonderful mom.
